Each cabin has all of the conveniences for modern living, including TVs, internet service, and clean bathrooms with brand new (installed 2022) water filtration systems. They each have full kitchens with microwaves, ovens, and are fully stocked with plates, cups, utensils, cookware, and anything else you may need!
Each cabin is steps away from either Pine Creek or Little Pine Creek, and features a fire pit and propane grill for outdoor cooking.
Comprised of the Bear Cabin, Trout Cottage, Deer Camp, the Turkey Lodge, and the add-on option of the Bunk House - Heverly Compound is a secluded paradise right on Little Pine Creek. Rent one, two, three, four, or all five to fit your party size!
All cabins are within a quick walk to a private slice of Little Pine Creek, with arguably the best trout fishing hole in the valley. The Trout and Bear Cabins are completely creekside, and you can see/hear the babbling stream from your huge private porch, laying on your hammock. The compound is full of ancient tall pines, that have been pruned to create a park-like setting with just the right amount of sun and shade. This compound is perfect for viewing wildlife. Deer, bears, mink, foxes, and a bald eagle have all been spotted right on the property. Though you may not want to leave, you are a quick drive to tons of restaurants, general stores, and Little Pine State Park.
Pine Creek Lodge is a single-standing cabin that sleeps 12, about a 25 minute drive up Pine Creek from the Heverly Compound. This property is the perfect spot for a group of biking, fishing, or boating enthusiasts, as the Lodge provides front-door access to both Pine Creek, and the famous, 62-mile Pine Creek Rail Trail.
The Lodge is perfect for one large or two small families to come together, as it has separate living areas with separate bathrooms. Formerly used as the family's main cabin for 40 years, it has been newly renovated to now house our guests! Outside you will find a creekside gazebo for wildlife viewing, and a fire ring for night-time s'mores. Don't forget your kayaks, canoes, fishing poles, tubes, and bikes! Situated between a few small townships and right below Slate Run - you can find general stores, restaurants, and much more within a reasonable drive.
