Trout Cottage

The smallest and coziest of our cabin options on the serene Heverly Compound, the newly renovated (in 2022) Trout Cottage is completely creekside to the best fishing hole on Little Pine Creek! The newly renovated, covered deck provides an escape where you will enjoy many cups of coffee, or well-prepared meals from your gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen.

In addition, the Trout features a (small) full bathroom, a Queen Bedroom/Living Room Combo, and a small living area with a table and chairs, double recliner a mounted flat-screen TV, and a looks out to the spacious deck where there is a propane grill, dining table & chairs, and your very own hammock. It's as relaxing as it sounds! Wander down your yard to the sparkling creek to fish, catch crawfish, or sit out at night by the creekside fire pit. You may even see the majestic bald eagle fly down over the creek, or see a mink playing in the water.

You likely won't want to leave your sanctuary, but if you do you are just minutes from restaurants, general stores, and every activity you could imagine! Enjoy fishing, hiking, hunting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, biking, bird-watching, and so much more all over the Valley.
